Pick me up
My favorites so far are: Trust your soul and spread love to other
&
Smile and show the world how beautiful you are
Even those these words are little they have made a huge impact in my life.
As you know I live in Japan, away from family of course, and my sister had a baby ( her first baby and my first nephew!) Living here makes living just hard sometimes. I became so depressed, and to be honest I'm not completely over feeling this way. It is hard to explain the emotions and thoughts that go through my mind. The feeling of not wanting to get out of bed, to not talk, to be annoyed with absolutely everything.. and many others. It is hard. Period. Life is hard. Going through things in life shape and mold us into the person we are meant to be. So don't be upset with the way you feel (even though I know you will say "I hate feeling this way" a few times) just know you can and WILL get through it. Stop and think what you can do for yourself, like I said there are many resources out there that can help. Even if it is a book!

Book Club
I have recently joined a book club, here on the island, and so far I'm a little confused. You are probably wondering what could be confusing about a book club right? Well let me explain. We had our first meeting last year in the beginning of December and while we were there (for 4 hours) we didn't talk books at all. We got to know eachother and had a really good time. Then the next meeting came in January and I totally forgot about it , life just happens sometimes you know? Of course though the meeting that I miss they actually discuss books and make a list of what we will be reading and posted it online. It is actually taken from a post I have seen on Pinterest before At least that is what I am assuming because they are very similar... Anyways so they chose this list and for us to read them before the movie comes out in theaters so we can go watch it all together.
Let me tell you I am on my 4th book from the list and most of the ladies haven't even finished or started by the way the FIRST BOOK!! I kind of feel like I joined a club by myself... I am currently just starting Divergent. I have been wanting to read this series for awhile so I will probably start that now until the ladies catch up.
Here is the list and their release dates and Trailers if you are interested!
1. Labor Day by Joyce Maynard -Labor Day
I have mistakenly watched all of these trailers before reading the books, and I was not excited at all. Not the kind of books, I would enjoy reading, but I love to read, so I will try them all out. This book was just weird from the start. A mom who seemed to have not been in her right mind at all throughout this whole book, and a son who is going through puberty. They take this guy back to their own house from the store they were at. Who is a fugitive and is hurt pretty badly.

2. Winter's Tale by Mark Halprin-Winter's Tale I am not so sure about this book, actually no I am. I can NOT read this, let alone finish it. Possibly the worst book I have ever read. I've never came across a book that has made me feel this way. I am unimpressed by the trailer also. Like I said I watched the trailers before reading the books, and this one I knew what it was going to be about and I had a very hard time picking this book up and reading it. So therefore I am done. I will not finish and don't care to finish. Don't care to watch the movie either, but you may check it out for yourself.

3.Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead-Vampire Academy I am currently waiting for this book to be shipped here. I ordered it on Amazon, because it actually looked good (the trailer and the description on the back of the book.)
Here is the description: Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, half human/vampire, guardians of the Moroi, peaceful, mortal vampires living discretely within our world. Her legacy is to protect the Moroi from bloodthirsty, immortal Vampires, the Strigoi. This is her story.

4.Divergent by Veronica Roth- Divergent I downloaded this book awhile ago, because I wanted to start the series, and well since the ladies at the book club decided on reading this book I just went ahead and started the series also, and let me tell you! I am thrilled to read AND watch the movie! Both look and sound amazing! I am only on chapter 3 but I love it already. Some of you have probably already heard of this series ( or even read them), I am not sure if you feel the same way, but I am hoping they make a movie for each of the book.

5.The Fault in Our Stars by John Green-Fault In Our Stars- This movie also stars Shailene Woodley and I am a fan of her movies and shows, I haven't read this book yet so here is the description: Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel's other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in
love at a cancer support group.
6. The Giver- by Lois Lowry- I have read this book in middle school and absolutely loved it. When my husband was sent away on his first deployment, I sent it to him to read, and now I just finished re-reading it. I love this book. It catches you from the start and continues to keep you interested throughout the whole book. If you have not read this book yet, I strongly advise you to read it before you watch the movie! The movie doesn't have a trailer out yet for it, but it had the cast! Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges, Taylor Swift... what a great cast, I am ecstatic to watch this movie.

7.The Maze Runner by James Dashner-Maze Runner - This is the only book I have not watched the trailer or read the book (or even the back of the book for that matter). Here is the description: Set in a post-apocalyptic world, young Thomas is deposited in a community of boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they're all trapped in a maze that will require him to join forces with fellow "runners" for a shot at escape.
8.Serena by Ron Rash-Serena The description given for this book, doesn't sound appealing, but the cast set for the movie does make me want to watch the movie. I mean come on who doesn't want to watch Jennifer Lawerence and Bradley Cooper in a movie together?!? It's almost too much awesome-ness for 1 movie :) This book is set back during the Depression in North Carolina. While facing these hardships, they also learn that the wife can not have any children.
